Olenka Design choose this month to announce its new Spring/Summer linen fabric collection. The luxury collection includes Neva and Velina designs, which were created to coordinate with their popular floral wallpaper. It also includes new Spring-feel design Lada, which is available in three fresh colourways: Spring Green, Buttercup and Poppy Red.

Who is Olga Shevchenko?

She is Russian-born Designer who created in United Kingdom her brand: Olenka. Olga loves playing with diversity and cultural heritage. She explores connections between past and present times to create truly unique designs. Her striking floral patterns embody traditional Russian folk art with a modern colour palette. All of Olenka's wallpaper is printed in the UK by an established UK wallpaper manufacturer, where the experienced staff make sure the product meets all the standard UK requirements and quarantees the best quality. The wallpaper is suitable for both domestic and commercial use.

Olga said about her collection : "Our luxury cotton linen is a medium heavy weight fabric suitable for a wide range of soft furnishings such as curtains and cushions. The fabric can be fire treated and it is also suitable for light upholstery. The cotton linen blend give the fabric a luxurious look and feel making it suitable for premium, hight-end products. A slub of linen gives the fabric real character and provides surface interest. The design is printed using eco-friendly water based pigment inks.
The luxury cotton linen is pre-treated to offer excellent durability and wash fastness. Pigments are inherently UV resistance and will provide long lasting prints.

She added "Lada Spring Green design was inspired by the 17th century Russian handicraft and painting style Khokhloma. The original pattern was hand painted with a great attention to detail. Beautifully drawn in monochrome folk style birds and flowers offset against a fresh Spring Green background.
